A quarter of a century is worth celebrating, so the FAB and AWO invited everyone to the summer party and anniversary celebration. After some initial weaknesses on the part of the weather gods, St. Peter was kind and gave us a dry, even sunny afternoon. Mr. Mühe, head of the Flensburg service houses of the Workers' Welfare Association, and Mr. Kohnagel, director of the Flensburg Workers' Building Association, gave a crisp, not too long speech and all the invited guests and tenants were then able to enjoy coffee and delicious butter cake from the bakery. With musical entertainment from Wilhelm Flor and - ohauehaueha, wat 'n Aggewars - the performance of a real petuhtante, the time flew by and we had great fun. As in previous years, my son René fired up the barbecue and the sausages and meat sold like hot cakes. Beer was served and you could see the enthusiasm of all the tenants on their happy and smiling faces. It was a great afternoon with a good atmosphere, interesting conversations and a lively exchange between everyone involved.
