A lot has happened on the Sandberg in the last ten years. That's how long it's been since the former retirement and nursing home was renovated and extended by a building in close cooperation between the SBV, the AWO and us, the FAB. And the concept of the facility has also been completely transformed. Today, the Sandberg Service House houses 84 inpatient care places and 131 apartments, to which tenants can add individual services such as help with everyday living. If that's not a reason to celebrate! A total of 60 guests accepted the invitation to join us in celebrating the anniversary of the residential complex in the in-house district café. And they all agreed on one thing: the service at the retirement home is unique. This is because it gives residents the opportunity to live independently in their own four walls until the end of their lives - even if they need a lot of help. This creates security in two respects: firstly through the familiar surroundings and secondly through the emergency system, which guarantees rapid assistance day and night.
