Our condominium management staff were able to welcome more than 120 advisory board members who had accepted our invitation to the C.ulturgut.
The keynote speaker was Marcus Greupner, a lawyer specializing in tenancy and condominium law from Bremen. He represents condominium owners' associations and administrators in legal proceedings.
In 2019, Mr. Greupner was repeatedly named one of the top lawyers in Germany for condominium law by FOCUS.
After a brief introduction, Mr. Greupner gave a very lively presentation on the latest judgments in condominium law and gave an outlook on the 2020 WEG reform, which is currently scheduled to come into force on 01.01.2021. He also addressed the duties and rights and the legal position of the administrator and the administrative advisory board. Other topics such as the distinction between special and common property, structural changes and comparable offers in connection with refurbishment decisions were also covered.
During the lively and humorous presentation, Mr. Greupner answered questions from the advisory board members in detail. Mr. Greupner had many a laugh on his side when explaining complex topics.
After around two hours, our condominium administrators were able to bid farewell to the advisory board members as they went home for the evening.
Many of them thanked their administrator for this informative seminar and expressed their wish for a repeat. A few of the advisory boards then made a detour to Mr. Greupner to discuss one or two questions with him.
