Last year, the owners of the Marienallee 49-53 residential complex invested in modern loggias - and the results are truly impressive!
Now the homeowners' association has once again decided to carry out refurbishment work that is both visually and functionally impressive.
The previous basement galleries were a real weak point. In addition to the outdated building fabric, the residents were particularly annoyed by the steep stairs. Access to the cellars was particularly difficult with bicycles or baby carriages. It was therefore jointly decided to demolish the old staircases and create barrier-free access routes.
Instead of the old stairs, a gently sloping path was installed to provide barrier-free access to the basement. The gray paving and the matching path borders create a stylish overall impression.
Everything tight, everything chic!
At the same time, the outer basement wall along the balconies was sealed against moisture ingress and the drainage system was relaid. The shrub beds were replaced with low-maintenance gravel areas. The inlets to the drainage system are also located here so that they can be easily flushed at any time. Additional green plants were integrated into the existing lawn area. In particular, low-maintenance plants with different flowering periods were selected.
