The plot in Westerallee was used by allotment gardeners until 1951, whose leases with the city of Flensburg were terminated before we acquired it and construction work began soon afterwards.

The housing shortage was great at the time and the building project was subject to a special purpose. The apartments were built for "former occupation displaced persons". In 1953, nine apartments covering 421 m2 were ready for occupation.

After almost 70 years, we decided to demolish the building and build new, contemporary apartments. The designs by Flensburg architects Asmussen + Partner have been drawn up, the building application has been submitted and we expect construction to start in July 2021. The apartments are then expected to be ready to move into at the end of 2022.

Nine 3-room apartments will be built on 773 m2, ranging in size from 75 to 100 m2. They are barrier-free and accessible by elevator. The rents have not yet been set.

If you are interested in one of the apartments in the building, you are welcome to contact Mr. Stefan Franzen now.
