Our annual representatives' meeting took place on June 15, 2017. This year, we were guests for the first time in the beautiful rooms of the "C.ulturgut" in Weiche. In addition to the current representatives, many of our new representatives also took the opportunity to see what tasks they will be facing in the future.
As in previous years, the 2016 financial year was also very successful. The good results of recent years were exceeded once again. With the annual result of EUR 1,352,840.14, we have achieved the best result to date in the 139-year history of our cooperative.
The representatives were called upon to vote on this good result and the extensive agenda.
In his report, our Director Michael Kohnagel presented the 2016 financial year and its special features to the representatives present. The extensive measures to modernize and refurbish the housing stock, the current new construction projects and the economic development of our cooperative were the focus of his presentation.
As usual, the meeting was professionally chaired by our Supervisory Board Chairwoman Antje Mannhardt. The necessary resolutions were passed. Among other things, the representatives had to vote on the adoption of the audited 2016 annual financial statements, the distribution of a dividend of 4%, the discharge of the Supervisory Board and Management Board and the election of Supervisory Board members. Our long-standing Supervisory Board member Boy Meesenburg was re-elected to the Supervisory Board. The representatives elected Mr. Rainer Mühe to replace Peter Plath, who stepped down from the Supervisory Board for reasons of age. We would like to thank Mr. Plath for his cooperation and his special commitment to our cooperative.
After the official part of the event, the participants were able to discuss the resolutions passed in detail over our traditional asparagus dinner and make initial contacts with the new representatives.
