To ensure reliable operation and absolute safety at all times, we attach great importance to regular inspections of the elevators in our residential portfolio. In recent months, we have even completely replaced the elevators in the buildings at Waldstrasse 55, Schulze-Delitzsch-Strasse 20 and Rude 29! The old models were from the 1960s and 1970s and no longer met our modern technical requirements.
The existing shaft was gutted in all properties and a completely new elevator was installed. The actual installation only took six weeks, but the previous planning took around four to six months. All new elevators have to be inspected by TÜV and the construction work must first be approved. In order to prepare the tenants for the work in the best possible way, we held detailed discussions in advance to find an adequate solution for the period in which the lift was not available. Thanks to the good planning, everything went smoothly and the new elevators were very well received by the residents. The unusual interior design was particularly well received, as the walls are now adorned with Flensburg's maritime harbor panorama.
We will be renovating more elevators in the future, and our aim is to replace two to three of them per year. Of course, we will inform you in good time so that you can prepare for the work.
