Helmreich Eberlein was there for his patients in his general medical practice on Rude in Flensburg for 31 years. In the end, around 700 people came to his practice every quarter. The doctor retired on June 30 for reasons of age.
The search for a successor proved to be difficult. As Eberlein was the only GP in the residential area in the south of Flensburg's city center, a large gap opened up after his retirement. Local politicians also discussed the supply situation in the social and health committee, but the problem has now been solved and successors have been found: The doctor couple Denise and Ralf Ting from Tarp are taking over the practice at Zur Bleiche 14 and will be supported on site by Prof. Ulrich Wiegers. As the location remains the same, patients do not have to reorient themselves and can go to a GP in the familiar part of town. The practice reopened at the beginning of October following renovation work.
